  1. I absolutly love the idea!

I've heard, and seen on the Dinese Richards show, small bred pigs that are domesticated. They are just adorable.

Im actually saving up to get one soon :]

  2. Potbelly pigs are commonly kept as pets, but regular pigs aren't really good pets. Pigs stink so much that you wouldn't want to spend much time with them. And they bite. In fact, pigs have even been known to eat people who fall down in the pen. I'd rather have pigs on my plate than in my backyard.

  3. Not for the vast majority of people.

There are no tiny pigs.  The Vietnamese pot bellied pig gets to at least 100-150 lbs.  The so-called mini-pigs are starved or fed low protein rabbit food to stunt their growth - animal cruelty.  And when they finally do grow, people don't want them and they get dumped in pig rescues.  And no one adopts the adults.

They are noisy, they root, inside and out, few vets treat them and many communities ban them as livestock.  They often do not do well with other pets.  Unless you live a in a community that allows them, have a large outside space for them to root and dig in, have a vet lined up and expect them to get big, don't get one.

  4. I would say no because they bite, they stink, they are loud, and not very cuddly...
