loads are saying its a raccoon LOL!! they say that the beak could be part of the raccoons skull, has anyone seen a raccoon skull?

the front of the skull is more rounded than than the one in the picture

loads are saying its a turtle without a shell, it cant be because if a shell had come off a turtle the animal would be a bloody mess because the spine is attached to the turtles shell and there is no evidence in the picture of the spine being ripped out

to me the backend looks like a plucked chicken or a pig, the top half looks a bit like a human with wierd hands and something carefully wrapped around the arm and the head looks just messed up  :/

and if this wasnt a hoax then why was their only 1 picture??

im sure whoever came to remove the animal or took DNA samples of the animal etc would have taken pictures??

but ive read quite a few stories about who found this animal now but ive read this article and i definatly believe its a hoax

If you're talking about the one in New York i looked at the pic and it looks like a turtle without a shell, so i don't think its fake, just not a monster. =)

The eyes should not be so clear in relation to the general state of decomposure... especially if this was in the water for any period of time....I think it is "the creature from the photoshop lagoon"...

The lower dentition is that of a canine, it's just a dog with part of its snout eaten and broken away so that it resembles a beak.
