  1. Amen, I'm happy someone said it. I live in a tiny community near lake charles and no one seems to think that this is bad for us. NEWS FLASH this is bad. This is worst then Katrina and Rita because the Storm is all ready at a worst stage then those two where when they hit land fall. I wish people would not be so ignorant and get the h**l out.

  2. I agree with you.. Katrina did not hit New Orleans as bad as they thought.. instead it hit the northshore and the Mississippi Gulf Coast worst but the levees gave out in New Orleans. The media tends to only concentrate on New Orleans. Makes me so angry. I know it was devastating but there are other people and other towns that are affected. I pray that the rest of Louisiana gets the media coverage as well. Not to put N.O. out of the picture but makes me ill to think that others, because of the media, do not recognize what happens to people down there that don't live in New Orleans. I cried when I saw the Mississippi Gulf Coast.. all the things I had known before were gone, gone, gone. I could go on but won't. Just take care of yourself and yes, I will pray for you.

  3. i see ibrea parrish and surronding area is being evacuated.

  4. Actually it appears Gustav may make landfall in south-central LA - good luck to us all!

.....  and Go Tigers!!  (right now LSU 24, Appl. St. 0 with 5:27 left in the first half)

  5. I've been looking at the radar ALL day..and I live in New York!  I think that NOLA comes to mind because everyone has heard of it, it's a big city and  all the coverage it got with Katrina.  All of us up here in the north are worried about the whole area...not just NOLA.
