Which candidate between Obama and McCain if elected, will there will be less deployments but still good benefits from the military. This is my concern I might be completely wrong though, if there is less deployments wont it be harder to reenlist in the military will everything be the same concerning the military and the military families

  1. Military benefits will always be good.  Obama is trying to get troops out of Iraq, but they are needed in Afgan.   I haven't heard much about McCain, but only because I can't stand to listen to him.  Even though you don't hear about it on the news, the military is always defending us in some way in other countries.  The sign on bonuses won't be as big, but it won't be hard to reenlist.

  2. We are needing troops in Afganistan BIG time so we will not see less deployments for qwite some time with Obama not i am not sure where McCain will come up with all the troops he will need to do all he wants to do. We may even need a draft with McCain!

  3. Speaking as prior service myself and my husband is still active duty.  One year they want to give military more and the next year they want to give less.  As far as the presidential candidates go I don't think that we could win with either.  You have one who wants to take the troops out within a year (which will be kind of hard to do) and then you have the other one who wants to leave them there.  Everyone is entitled to their own opinion about the war.  My husband has been there once and getting ready to leave again and he has said over and over again that he will go as many times as necessary.  I am glad to see that someone cares about the troops like you do people tend to forget about them.

    God Bless you
