The Twins paradox, if you don't know it, look it up. Anyway, does anyone know of some article or webstie that has info on people actually performing the tiwns paradox? I know people have done experiments with sensitive clocks on planes. So if you know of any please include it. I want to try to perform the Twins paradox for a physics project. So if anyone knows of a website that gives details of an experiment and how to do it, please include. Also What type of clock would I use?

  1. You won't be able to do it because the clocks used are atomic clocks and are extremely extremely accurate and precise.  You would also need alot of speed or at least be able to perform the experiment for a long time.  It is pretty hard to have a significant result where the change in the time outweighs the error in the measurement/experiment.  Given my background in physics I hate to say this to an idea because all ideas should be tried because that's how we progress in physics, but I don't believe you will be able to do the experiment without spending a significant amount of money.
