yeah I agree- my daughter is named Olivia. I think that sounds much prettier than just Olive. It makes you think of Olive Oil from Popeye lol. If its a family name, maybe consider making it her middle name instead of first name. Just my opinion.

yeah- if you want her to be called olive oil - or black olive - or green olive.  kids can be so rude, if you really want to name your kid olive - choose a less make-funable one - and call her by that name.  when shes an adult - then she can choose to be know by it or not.
