What accreditation is there for business trying to be environmentally friendly?

The company I work for is putting in a lot of initatives in order to be more environmentally friendly (reducing carbon footprints etc). I was wondering if there were any government or associations that issue accreditations when certain levels/improvements are met?

  2. You can become ISO Certified.  ISO 2000 is for Quality, ISO 14000 is for Environment.
