What action can you take against a neighbor whom of which you don't know, received a package...?

from Fedex for me and i had no knowledge of it and they won't give my package back when i go to retrieve it, they will not answer their door...what can i do!!

Call whoever sent you the package.  If it was a store, tell them you never received the item because it wasn't delivered to you.  You can also try to call Fed Ex on your own.

Technically, they are only supposed to deliver it to the addressee or someone in the home, so it ends up being Fed Ex's problem.

Call the shipper and tell them you never recieved the phone. Or call the police, and provide with all the shipping/delivery details.  Unfortunately fedex will probably not be held accountable because shipping company requested an indirect signature option.

Call the police.  That's called stealing.

Contact FedEx and complain that you have never received your package.  Also contact the sender and advise them you have not received the package.  Don't fight with your neighbor, let the company do it.  They can involve the police if necessary.  If you were charged on your credit card for the item have the charge removed.

the key thing is if you were expecting a package or not.  And this is critical.

Last week, a mayor in Virginia, was involved in police raiding his home, related to a package sent to his home fraudulently. Apparently there is a scam going around, where fake addresses are being used, the package is left outside, then picked up by someone else. The package contained drugs.

If you were expecting it, then you need to talk to Fedex, that it was wrongly delivered.
