What activities should i do with a 3 yr old and a 9 year old while babysitting them?

i dont know what to do with the kids it gets kind of boring for me so its probablly really boring. The three old dosent really understand how to play the games. Ive already bought some arts and craafts but thats only for like 10 min . and i have to babysit them the entire day!!!!!!!!

Have them play in the sprinkler.

Read to them.

Do some crafts.

Computer.

Watch some movies.

Make some cookies.

Play with a pet if they have one.

Try bringing a bag of your own toys from when you were their age. Let them play wth them. Bring stuffed animals for the younger kid, and for the 9 year old bring some yarn and beads to make bracelets.

Or for the 9 year old, bring an old magazine ( with appropriate pictures ) and write down a bunch of items. She has to look through the magazine finding the items, cutting them out, and then glue them on a paper. See how long it takes her to find everything. Give her a prize afterward, like a peice of gum or make a magazine scavenger hunt award.

For babysitting the 3 year old and 8 year old form 8am-5pm.. I would charge 5$ for the first kid, and add an additional dollar for each additional kid. So 6$ an hour, for 9 hours. So it would be about 54$ for the day.

This question is asked so many times so if you need more ideas just search it.

Play monoply or something that takes a long time, that will eat up a large portion of the day. You can have some fun making lunches, cut them up and things like that. TV is a good back up, take a couple of DVDs like sleeping beauty or old ones you have lying around your house, or borrow from a friend.
