What actually happened to Heath Ledger while sleeping??

Did he stroke while sleeping?

Did he tried to woke up but couldn't?

Did he felt asphyxia?

he overdosed on some meds by mistake. died in his sleep.

He probably forgot to breathe. I don't recall what he is supposed to have taken, but sleeping pills, narcotic pain relievers, and a host of other drugs depress the respiratory drive.

I got this for you. I am a paramedic and deal with overdoses quite abit. When someone overdoses the way he did. They fall asleep and cannot protect their airway (keep their throat open) and either vomit (and breath it into their lungs and drown) or they block their airway with their tongue, and cut the oxygen to their brain, in tern brain stops breathing. Any how he died with out pain, he was sleeping (not aware) when it happened.
