  1. For this student you may want to pair the words with pictures so they can participate in the game if they cannot read the words. Also say the words out loud so the child can hear them. Model the activity by playing a round or two with the child watching and then let them try and provide positive feedback. Perhaps pair him up with a proficient peer who can help or work as a team.


  2. I guess, number one would be patience. Just dont force the kid. There will be times when his attention span is at its prime. It is best that you teach him/her during this period. Also, find out what stimulates him/her and use it for teaching.

  3. This info should be spelled out in the testing done to write the iep.
