What adapter do i use for my super nintendo?

hey jus dug out my super nintendo snes system but i cant find the adapter, i know an nes or an original nintendo system uses any standard 12v adapter is this the same for the snes or is it another voltage of adapter? i.e 24v??? thanks anyone for your help,

  1. NES actually uses a 9V AC to AC adapter, so time to go to Radio Shack or Goodwill for a replacement.
