  1. cows are fat there.

  2. It depends on the resort you're going to. Most resorts will carry European outlets. I'm from Canada and I had to bring an adapter and converter because my appliances were not dual-voltage and needed a plug adapter for the prongs.

Check the resort you're booked at for their outlet system.

    Check this information:

    http://www.gocuba.ca/en/travelTips.asp#1

    "Electrical equipment:

Cuba’s electricity is 110 volts, 60Hz, but most hotels and resorts have 220 volts. Electrical outlets take flat plug prongs. If you’re bringing an electrical appliance, check before you leave to see if you need an adaptor or converter."

The adapter and converter you'll need would be used for the 'Caribbean'....

  3. In Cuba in general they use the US type flat pin plugs and power outlets.

Go to a hardware store or a travel shop

    they have power adaptor sets.

    good luck and have fun!

  4. go to radio shack or best buy

    theyll help you

  5. They're a confused place - they actually use both European  (2 prong round) and American standards (2 prong flat) as well as grounded versions of both.

  6. american style..
