What adaptors do I need to make my electrical things work in paris?

I have a hair straightener, an mp3 player charger and a battery charger i'd like to be able to use while staying in paris, if possible, what sort of converters and adaptors would i need while i'm there? Is the voltage different?

Your laptop will accept the change in voltage. Other items likely will not.

If your gadget has a box at the plug end, or along the cord, it is a transformer. Look where it says "input voltage"  if it says 110 220 (or 115 240) then you just need an European plug adaptor.

Otherwise you will need a 110V - 220 volt converter and a plug adaptor.
