What advantages do you get from having a horse?

i am looking at getting a horse but my dad is totally against it. what can i say to him that might change his mind?

If you can afford to buy a horse and care for him properly,then tell your Dad that having a horse is good exercise and may give you good experience in horse care.Having your own horse will be a lot of work,but you will learn a lot and get to ride too. Good luck!!

the parent wont get any advantages. it will cost them ALOT

if you are dedicated it might keep you out of other trouble though..

Tell him you can ride it where ever you want in the hills,cross rivers and trails. Tell him you can pay for it (medical, feeding...). Good luck!!

Having owned two trotters in the past, I can tell you that it is the most exciting time I have ever had.  I got goose bumps every time they announced me as the owener during the parade.  I made a few bucks on one of the two and lost a few onthe secod one.
