I'm really worried about her. What should I tell her to convince her not to smoke?

  1. tell her how much you care about her and how much you don't want her to get sick

    have her read this

  2. Unless the person themselves want to stop, there isn't much you can do to make them stop. If I were you I wouldn't push the concept of quitting, you could cause arguments and even break the friendship.

You should ask subtly, "Have you ever thought about quitting?" if she says she wants to quit, you should tell her your 100% behind her on it. If she doesn't want to quit, unfortunatly there isn't much you can do.

                                       Hope this helps!

  3. you neeed to tell her that you really care about her and you dont want to see her suffer from the effects of smoking. and you also dont want to lose her..

  4. Tell her you are worried about her habit. Don't nag, but wear your emotions on your sleeve. Crying may affect her if she is really your friend, because she will realize that it affects you too. 5. well its kinda hard to convice a heavy smoker to stop but sometimes they see themselves that its better if they stop. i for one am quiting after i finish my current pack cause i'm gonna take up cycling. i guess u could try talk to her about it. even if u cant get her to stop try get her to cut back on them

  6. smoking is a dissociation pattern

you get away from the sadness which the lungs deal with

by abusing the Kingdom of the Plants

Get to the grief and fear and the smoking will be done with easily

Smoking is selfdenial, but it gives someone peace of mind for at least 10 minutes.

  7. She's presumably familiar with the same facts you are, so there's nothing you can tell her. It's her life. And for her, the health consequences of smoking are many, many years in the future.

  8. First she must want to quit? Does she?

If not you must make her want to quit first if she doesn't already.

There are many resources on the net and support groups if she already has the intention and you can support her by agreeing to offer encouragement regularly.

I've compiled a playlist of quit smoking videos that might help that includes quite shocking ads that might help if she doesn't want to quit!
