  1. To thine own self, be true

  2. Don't be a fool rap your tool!

    Don't get credit cards either...

  3. get a good education, work hard and save your money, don't buy unless you can pay cash.

  4. Get as much education as possible but find a way to make a living at doing what you really enjoy. Life is too short to be unhappy so live each day to it's fullest while treating others as you would want them to treat you.

  5. (You have some great questions today, kiddo.  Good job!)

Think things through carefully, but try not to overthink anything!  Along the same line, stay true to yourself and to what you believe in.  Don't be so concerned about what others think of you and of your opinions.  At the end of the day, YOU are the one who has to live with yourself.  You don't want to end up regretting anything you have done, like giving in to peer pressure.

  6. Learn to be content. That doesn't mean you should not strive to better yourself. Sadly a lot of people don't learn this until late in life. Be honest. You never know when your word will be all you have to tip the scale.

When you are angry with someone remember God loves them and treat them accordingly.

  7. graduate highschool, don't get caught up in drama, do a lot of volunteering (for your college resume), go to college, and get a good job. Oh one more thing, don't waste your time on guys till you're outta high school!

  8. i love how this is in senior citizens haha

ask questions and they can answer them but they need to be specific

  9. Now is certainly a good time to be asking.  First and foremost, get a good education.  You don't want to be making min. wages later on.  Don't be in a big hurry get married and have children.  Closer to thirty is better than closer to twenty.  Save s*x until you are older and wiser.  Enjoy your teen years, they only come once.  Be careful choosing your friends.  You want them to have the same values and interests that you have.  Listen to your parents.  Believe it or not they were young, they made mistakes and don't want you to make the same ones.

  10. Obedience is better than sacrifice.

  11. Always pay off your credit cards every month

  12. Do not believe everything you see and read on the internet.

  13. You should know what questions to ask and to whom...

  14. Be honest, loving, cheerful, a good friend (if you want a friend), don't be gullible and fall for the lies of some guys.  They will tell you they love you and you are the only one,but 3/4 of them are not being honest .  They want to use you and then dump you for the next one.  Be very selective and watch who you associate with.  The old saying "birds of a feather flock together" has a meaning.  It means that you will be considered the same as the ones you hang out with. The safest way is to find a good church and get involved with it.  But, you cna't always believe those guys either.  Some are there because their parents make them go and they are not sincere.  It's rough honey, but you have to keep yourself clean and don't get yourself into a trap by a guy.Don't fall for the old line" if you love me you'll make love to me"  Come back to them, " if you loved me you'd respect my decision and not push"Good luck and always keep you mind clear.  No drugs, alcohol, or mind changing drugs.  You wll do things you never thought you could ever do.

  15. I gave the following answer about 6 months ago.  Rather than re-write it I'm copying it for you. I hope you like to read. I have added 2 of my favorite things that I read often and pass them to my family.

YOUNGER GENERATIONS: They have a heavy weight on their shoulders, in this world we live in. They are our future.

I know that most of our younger generation are very intelligent, responsible and they can carry that weight and they must be a respecter of all mankind.

They will make mistakes along the way but they must forgive them selves and take the next step forward.

Meet the challenges they will face in life.

    Handle their/our freedom with care.

Honor their wedding vows and build a strong family unit. Be all they can be for those they love, who are dependent on them through no fault of their own.

Set goals and conduct themselves in a manner, that builds good memories.

Curb their appetites for the abundance of material possessions.

Live a simple life and do their best to the best of their ability.

They can do it.  They will do it!

Additional information for you that I would like to share with a home schooler.

    ATTITUDE

    Charles Swindoll

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company… a church… a home.

The remarkable thing is, we have a choice everyday regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day.

We cannot change our past. We can not change the fact that people act in a certain way. We can not change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude.

I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to you and 90% how you react to it. And so it is with you… We are in charge of our attitudes.

    DESIDERATA

Go placidly amidst the noise and haste, and remember what peace there may be in silence.

As far as possible without surrender be on good terms with all persons.

Speak your truth quietly and clearly, and listen to others, even the dull and the ignorant; they too have their story.

Avoid loud and aggressive persons, they are vexatious to the spirit.

If you compare yourself with others, you may become vain or bitter; for there will always be greater and lesser persons than yourself.

Enjoy your achievements as well as your plans.

Keep interested in your career, however humble; it is a real possession in the changing fortunes of time.

Exercise caution in your business affairs for the world is full of trickery. But let this not blind you to what virtue there is; many persons strive for high ideals, and everywhere life is full of heroism.

Be yourself. Especially, do not feign affection. Neither be cynical about love; for in the face of all aridity and disenchantment it is as perennial as the grass.

Take kindly the counsel of the years, gracefully surrendering the things of youth.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune. But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings. Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.

Beyond a wholesome discipline be gentle with yourself.

You are a child of the universe; no less than the trees and the stars, you have the right to be here.

And whether or not it is clear to you, no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should.

Therefore be at peace with God whatever you conceive Him to be.

And whatever your labors and aspirations in the noisy confusion of life, keep peace with your soul.

With all its sham drudgery and broken dreams it is still a beautiful world.

Be cheerful. Strive to be happy.

  16. Do not rush to be seen as adult.  Enjoy what you have now and learn from it.  It will make you far more well adjusted than thise that try to leap into adulthood!!

You will continue to grow more adult over the years at 25 you will think you were naive at 16, 18, 21 etc.  usually your character sets at around 35 years of age but you still go on learning and changing if you keep an open mind!

  17. You're going to start believing that your parents are stupid and out of touch. This is normal, but you must remember that they are not. They are doing their best to give you some freedom along with guidance that they themselves learned the hard way. Parenting is a tough on-the-job experience.

Please cut them some slack and listen to them.

  18. Get a really good education, so you can find a good career and have a successful future. If you don't, years ahead, you may look back and regret not doing so.
