  1. id say start out in the adult film business...

  2. I used to have SUCH BAD audition anxiety too, because I always was afraid I wouldn't measure up and that I had to somehow prove myself to the judges. Best piece of advice I ever heard: the judges WANT you to do well. They're on your side. What I used to do at auditions to psych myself out is pretend that I already got the part, and that I'm not auditioning, but performing for them. That helps a lot. And if you're religious....I always pray before every audition and performance and it helps me loads. Break a leg!

  3. AUDITION.  try looking for some here: hollywood-opportunities(dotcom)

  4. The person above who noted that the people you are auditioning for "want you to do well"...she is absolutely right.

Please, please remember that.  Anyone who is your audience really does want you to do well.  They would love to watch you feeling good about yourself, enjoying what you are doing, be happy to see you succeed.

That is no "pep speech" it is absolutely true.  It is an inherent human quality.  We want to watch people be at their best...then we all wind up being moved.

Breathe, do breathing excercises (look into Patsy Rodenburg or Cicely Berry if you don't know what that means), and know that every single one of your audience  - whether 1 person or 10,000 - is really wanting you to succeed and do well.

    Best wishes, and don't stress!

  5. You should take some acting classes - not like private lessons, group lessons.

You will get used to performing in front of people, but without the stress of needing to be good, because everyone in the group is being critiqued and it won't be just you doing things wrong. It really helps people get over their shyness. Plus, you make lots of new friends to people who share the same dreams as you!

    Good Luck
