What advice would you give to a college freshman?

I'm about to be a freshman in college.

i would just warn you that everything is expensive from tuition to books even the supplies, etc. Lab fee's are also expensive (depending where you go). if you type faster than you write or have bad hand writing, then you should bring a laptop to help take notes-you will use them a lot and need to refer back alot. If a professor talks fast and/or you just can't keep up, then record the lectures and you can refer back to them- even if you only refer back to them for the final it really helps, this really saved me. I don't know what else to say. Try and take good professors that you know are good. to find out go to ratemyprofessors.com. it really helped me and saved me from taking horrible professors.
