What advice would you give to someone who wants to go barefoot more often?

I want to go barefoot more often, both in public and private. How do I become more courageous in doing this? I feel too intimidated to go barefoot sometimes; how do I get over this feeling?

    I was amazed at how un-healthy shoes are for you and the comfort and freedom of being barefoot can't be beat.

    FACTS;

    Going barefoot offers many health benefits.  It promotes general foot health and strengthens muscles in feet and legs.

    Many types of footwear can cause harm to overall foot health.

    Going barefoot is legal.  Health codes do not require footwear for customers in stores, restaurants or other businesses.

    Driving barefoot is legal and often safer.

  4. You just need to start going places, around your block, to the post office, keep doing it more don't think about being barefoot.  Just keep adding more time and places, until you walk out of the house and don't notice that you are not wearing shoes, get some barefoot sandals  

  5. Don't feel intimidated, just do as you wish. People in this world should live and let live.

    When you do go barefoot clean your feet with a little meths, it will toughen up the skin.

  6. You can get some nasty feet warts, etc.  And a lot of places wont let you enter their establishment barefoot. good luck
