What ae the reasons behind Pentagon's China-threat report ?

Pentagon launches its China-threat campaign again, It has done that just about every year for past 10 years..

The problem in that ten-year span is that the world did not see a single China' fleet (they even could not built a aircraft-carrier..) cruising at the doorstep of other sovereign nations. Neither have we seen China warships stationed or sailed on a permanent basis, along the important sea channels connecting the oceans.

On the contrast, it is none other than the US, who has done exactly that! From land to air, from sea to space, the dominance and omnipotence are unmistakably of US military dominance.

So why accusing China as a villain while the US is doing the scoundrel act.?

Scoundrel act? Protecting freedom of the seas is a scoundrel act? The Chinese navy is small, but the Army and Air Force are modern, well equipped forces.

China is on the road to becoming the dominant economic and military power in Asia. On the the other hand, the US economic and military influence in this region is declining. In the coming decades ahead, China will be the one dictating the policies in this region. This is what really worries the Pentagon.

China's economy is really picking up steam, and they are destined to become a superpower one of these days.  At the same time, the US economy plummets and the value of the dollar falls every day.  The US government probably sees that as a threat, because they want to remain the 'top dogs.'

Who knows?  China might even upgrade their nuclear arsenal in the future.  Most estimates put the number of warheads between three and four hundred, but it might be higher than that.

china can be a very dangerous country. Have you studied Pearl Harbor? The US got hit before they knew what was going on. We have to keep one eye & one ear open at all times. Who ever expected 911 to happen,was anyone ready for that? OK I stand corrected. what I meant by have you studied Pearl Harbor the japanese  hit us before anyone knew what happen,so thus you have to be beware of all your surroundings at all times.  you have to read in between the lines. Trying to keep the story short.
