  1. I did a science experiment which was a fair test and found that Blue made the plaants grow the fastest with yellow slightly ahead of red and clear as my control coming last.


  2. Red is best because is has nothing to do with green. Blue is the second best. Green is the worst.

  3. Red and blue light equals :-D plants. Green light equals :-( plants. LOL. Chlorophyll looks green because it reflects green light and absorbs red and blue light. Chlorophyll reflects green light because it cannot use green light. It absorbs red and blue light because it uses it.

  4. well for a science project i did an experiment on this we did red blue green and clear cellophane not a great filter of course but it still got us different results for each and we found that the green plants grew nearly 1.5 times better than the other ones going against nearly everything that i found on the web

  6. Green Lights are horrible for plants due to the fact Chlorophyll is green and that is what allows the plant to absorb light. Basically, it can't use green light for photosynthesis because it reflects green light.
