My doctor has finally made the referral of a fertitily specalists. Whats is next the next step or does it depends or me and whats going to get me pregnant. I guess my biggest fear is the side effects..

Just wondering also, this month my periods was total off (this was my 3rd round of clomid) and to this day I really haven't had a period or did I??? I have been spotting and dischaging since July 16 or so.. Each day I will come on W/heavy spotting and then go right off. But now I'm spotting W/little brown discharge.. Pregnancy test Negative (not ovaluating).

  1. If you are asking what happens when you go to the fertility specialist then the process typically goes like this:  you and your partner will go to the Dr for an interview.  During the interview they will typically want to know things like how long you have been trying and what medications and methods that you have used.  After those interviews you will usually go to see a geneticist.  The geneticist will want to know all about your family history, you will need to talk to both of your families about which gentic diseases that your families carry.  Once the question and answer period is over they will usually take blood to test.  When those results come back, if everything is fine then you may move on to a more intense fertility medication.  The side effects of each "next step" fertility drug are just another step.  The effects that you felt with the Clomid will just be upped with any other drugs.  Typically the moodiness and nerves are the most effected.  Good Luck.
