What age are beta fish that can be purchased at Wal-Mart? I was wondering b/c I have two that I have had for?

females are usually about 4-6 months of age when sold in petstores

males are about 7-9 months of age when sold

usually bettas in stores are sold when they are a few months old..maybe 7-8 months...basically 3-4 years is a good life for a betaa if well taken care of...by that I mean 4-5 gallon tank with filter and heater...
