  1. one is the standard age

  2. one year old

  3. I've had people tell me that it's ok to start milk at 9 months but I honestly don't feel comfortable giving my son milk that early. Every thing I READ says not to give milk before 1 year old. Yogurt is fine but not to DRINK milk. I personally won't give my son milk until he is a year old. If you are told that you can give your child something but you're not comfortable doing it, DON'T. You need to trust your instincts before you listen to what's "ok" if you're not sure if it's too early. My son's pediatrician said my son could have yogurt at 6 1/2 months but I wasn't comfortable with that yet so we waited until 7 1/2 months because I was more comfortable giving it to him then.

Milk will be easier for your baby to digest after a year old.
