What age can i drive?

I know this question has already been asked but i would like to clarify.

I will be 17 on June 4th 2009. Due to any new rules will i be able to get a driving license then or will i have 2 wait till im 18 or even 21?

You really need to specify where in the world you are!

I can tell you the rules for the UK though :)

In the UK, the age at which you can start learning to drive is 17, unless you receive the higher rate mobility component of Disability Living Allowance, in which case, you can start when you are 16.

The rumour that the age at which you can learn to drive in the UK is going up has been going round for years! - It isn't true and there are currently no plans to change it from 17 (or 16 for those in receipt of higher rate DLA)...

You can apply for your provisional driving licence NOW! It will only be valid as a moped licence until you turn 17. On your 17th birthday you can drive a car (accompanied by a full car licence holder who is over 21 and held their licence for at least 3 years, with L plates front and rear, and of course insurance). Once you are 17 you will then be able to book your theory test and once you have passed that you can book your practical test!

Are you're asking what new rules will be in effect on June 4, 2009?  Let my get out my crystal ball and look.  Wait right here for the answer...

If you're asking if there are any new rules in effect now that will affect you, you'll have to include a location if you want an answer.  But most rumors that say "Those born after a certain year will not get a license until 18 (or 21)" are just that, rumors, with no truth to them.

At the moment its still 17, so you can have driving lessons as soon as you turn 17. But if the rules change in the nx year the you are going to have to wait. If you are desperate to drive, you can get an instructor and go round practise tracks, they teach u to drive so it will be much easier 4 you when the time comes.
