Contrary to what many will lead you to believe, dunking is not a big part of basketball. All of these people made statements that they are short and they can dunk. Can they rebound? Can they shoot a jump shot? Can they willingly pass to the open teammate? Can they D-up a comparative opponent? Can they fill a lane on a fast break? Can they dive after the ball to save it at a critical time in the game? There is so much more to basketball than dunking.

By the way, I was 6'3" and 15 when I could first dunk (I weighed almost 125 pounds as well). The reason I played college basketball is that I could do the other things as a 6'7" forward.

well i'm 5'10", 14 years old (almost 15) and i am about 2-3 inches away from the 10 foot rim. but i can easily dunk on 9 and can dunk on 9'6" on a good day.

trying to improve my vertical though :D

It was earlier this year I'm 17 and I'm 5'11 and i was at the park and this lil kid asked if i could dunk and i tried it and dunked it.

Contrary to what BillH will lead you to believe, i don't just care about dunking i go to the park to work on my whole game from dribbling, shooting and defense, i don't no reason to lie what does it matter

im 13, 5-6, and i am close to dunking. but i also have the second highest vert in my school, so i plan on dunking when i get taller =D
