  1. my daughter is 21 months and i started it about 2 weeks ago. it was pretty rough the 1st couple days ..she cried and everything but see she knew how to climb out of her crib at night and id have to get up and put her back in it everytime..so with the toddler crib..i let her cry and she realizes that im not coming so she can get her self back to bed on her own. i should of done it a few months ago. But she does great now! just dont expect it to work RIGHT away cuz it doesnt. You just have to work with them! good luck!

  2. My son was 20 months old and we had no problems moving him. He liked his new bed and loved sleeping in it

  3. My son got a big boy bed on his 1st birthday.

  4. my daughter who is now 13 months moved to a bed on her 1st birthday.

She fell out a few times, but we put a quilt on the floor so the landing wasnt so hard.

She has been in a bed now for over a month and hasnt fallen out for about 3 weeks now.

Just reading everyones comments, did we move our daughter to a bed to early!

  5. my daughter is not out of it yet...but I know my niece was out of hers by about a year and a half

  6. 2

  7. My son just turned 2 and still sleeps in his crib.  He hasn't tried to climb out yet.  I have read and been told by friends, family, and his doctor, to wait as long as I can.  They all say it is an easier transition when they are older.  So, I am going to wait until he starts climbing out.  It is up to you though, if you want to move your child now, then you can.  Just be sure the bedroom is saft and child proof.  If your baby isin't ready, you will know in a week or two and can go back to the crib.

  8. You should usually move them out when they learn to climb out because it can be dangerous and the bed would be much safer in that case. I'd say maybe 2-3 years old.

  9. My son just turned 2 and is still in his - he occasionally sleeps in a toddler bed at my parents' house. He really doesn't care either way, so we haven' t gotten him a bed yet (we need to soon, though). I guess it's just easier somehow to have him sleep in his crib. I didn't realize that people move their children so much sooner.

  10. I tried to move my daughter at 15 months but then decided to wait, she is now in a toddler bed but the other side against the wall is still up.

She is 2, and has been in it for about 3 months.
