What age did you start masterbating?

I'm just wondering, sorry if this is kind of personal, but what age did you start masterbating, and did you discover it on your own?I started when i was eight,and one of my friends in school taught me.

the first time i did it(and knew i was masturbating) i was 13.

I was pretty young, probably 6 or 7. I figured it out myself.
