I have a 1 yr old, actually turned 1 yesterday. Anyway, he has never produced tears that roll down his face. He has cried and I see his eyes water but none have streamed down. He goes to the doc on the 25th, should this be cause for concern and ask the doctor?? Any suggestions or answers will be helpful. Thanks!

  1. I would ask your doctor as most babies generally start producing tears at about 3-4 months old.

  2. I would ask about it I really not sure..  I know that my daughter is 10 mths and she has had tears run down her face.

  3. My babis is 10 weeks and just started to get a tear or two.

  4. My daughter's tears streamed down her face since she was about three months old. She's a bit of a drama queen though so I don't know. Maybe your son just isn't a big crier.

  5. I doubt there's a problem but you should ask the doc. Maybe he's just not a crybaby, lol.

  6. Does he get lots of eye infections? My son never really did but my daughter did from birth so its hard to say, I hope everything is alright.

  7. sounds like he could have a blocked tear duct i would talk to the doctor about it.  But i would think if it was that you would have knowen before now the eyes would have been red alot if the times.

  8. You should ask your dr for sure...

  9. idk but I know my son does sometimes (when he is really tired and cries while you rock him) and he is 4 months
