I introduced sippy cups at 6 months and my daughter was able to use them fine straight away, she only has a bottle at bedtime or when I run out of clean sippy cups.. =P

I started giving my son juice and water out of it when he was around 6 months.  When I started to ween him off his bottle he got whole milk in the sippy cup and that was around 10 months old.  I never put formula in the sippy cup so he wouldn't associate them together.  He was able to control the sippy cup when he was around 9  months old.  Good Luck!

I started at one year with juices and water and other drinks, but still gave a bottle for formula.

there is ones you can introduce at 3 months but i personally started at 6 months and was completely off bottle by 1yr...only give juice in a cup though.

i introduced it at 6mos, but she was 11mos before she would confidently hold it herself and drink out of it.

At 6 months I gave him a sippy cup with some water with his meals.

He caught on very quick and uses it perfectly.
