  1. 16 is the age for travelling on your own to Spain. I live in Gibraltar, it is a British Colony just beside the South of Spain. My 16 yr old goes to Spain with is friends sometimes as we just have to walk into Spain as it is just separated from Gibraltar by a frontier and he only needs to show his passport.

  2. You can actually travel at the age of 14 with parents permission, my neice has just returned to the UK for the hols and returns in August to spain, she is just 14, she did need a letter of consent from her parent, the airport over here in the costa blanca allowed my sister to go through with her and ensure she got on the plane.

  3. Yes you can but if you are booking a package holiday it is likely the travel agent or tour operator will require some form of acknowledgement/permission from your parents until you are 18.
