Maybe you had babies young and you might feel its better to wait until you're older? or the other way round?

I know you love your kids no matter what...but what do you think is the ideal age?

*im just pondering my future*

  1. when your about a 120 , ahhhhhhhhh ,kids , its hard work ,take your time !! enjoy your young life as long as you can

  2. That depends on what you want out of life ?

my wife and i had our first of 3 at 21yrs old, i would say these days about 25/30.

but untill then my freind have fun take care and keep smiling.

    :-)

  3. I guess the obvious answer is whenever feels right for you hun.

I can only talk for me but I am only 24, moved out young and got married 9 months ago. My husband is only 22, I have worked since 16 and he since 18 so we both feel we are now ready to have a family but everyone's circumstances are very different. You must go with what feels best for you. My nan had my mum at 19 and my mum had me at 24. My nan and grandad havent had any children at home since they were in their 40's and my mum and dad are now 50 and both chilldren moved out so both couples now have time and more money (as they now have small mortgages etc & have worked a long time) to enjoy doing what they have always wanted to do but also have their own family to enjoy life with.

Having said that there are lots of benefits for waiting until you are in your 30's/40's especially if you want to travel or have a career although you can do both and make it work for you.

Everyone must do what feels right for them and what is right for one person may not be right for another.

Whatever you decide - Good Luck x*x

  4. There is no one right age for everyone. The time to have a child is when you can't stand not to have one anymore. That way, anything you give up is worth it.

  5. I think 27/28.

Old enough to have lived a little, gathered an education and started a career, but young enough to have fun with the children and still have lots of time left when they've grown up.

  6. I think around my age, 24 (as of today!) you have started your career, have a decent house set up, but you can still have fun, and your kids won't be embarrassed (I know my youngest sister was embarrassed of my mother!)
