My son will be 4 in a couple months. I want to buy him a bed... I am thinking I'de like to get him a mates bed, however; I found a good deal on a bed. It is the kind that you climb a latter, bed is on top, and you slide down.

At what age would a kid outgrow this type of bed?

  1. that would be so cool... my little brother (hes 10) would love that.. like a loft bed and then theres a slide to get down

  2. well, it depends on how big the slide is. he may still think it is fun, but be too big for it at like 8

  3. he would love that his own slide in his bed room cool

  4. oh I want a bed with a slide

  5. I would not waste money on that bed..it will last a few years at best and then you need to go buy another one.  Get the mates bed...they last for years.  My daughter is 14 and still has hers from when she was 7

  6. I would say about 10 to 12 when they start hitting the kid stuff sucks phase..... but I personally would love one now!  How cool would that be!  You are an awesome mom for even considering it!

  7. Im 25 and just installed one on my bed. Its a water slide that slides down into my 3 inch deep pool then I swim down my hall which is a moat

  8. I would say about 10.  Maybe you can detach the slide when he gets older?  If you have the money to buy such a bed and then spring for another after that, I'd say go for it.

  9. he will probly grow out out of it maybe 11 or 12? but i want one. those are so wicked.

  10. well my 3 year old just got the same thing with the little play are underneath and they are quit little kiddish so probably about 6

  11. That is so cool! I've never heard of that! Um, Probably when he is like 10.

    Hope this helps!!!
