  1. idk, are they good books? i think i might start reading.

  2. Depends on the maturity and reading level of the reader, really - they're marketed for the "Young Adult" group which is typically seen as about 12-18. The series is dystopian, and less mature readers might have difficulty picking up on and appreciating them.

  3. Young adults.

Those books were amazing, I highly recommend them.  I am a senior in high school, but my mom enjoyed them also.

  4. 12+ but  an 11 year old could read them. there is nothing exsplisit in them, but they have romance and some more mature plot lines ie cutting

  5. I would say 14 and up.

  6. there in the teen section at barnes & nobel. that can mean 13 year old to 18. im 14 and my friends introduced me to the series when extras came out. everyone at my school was reading it.

  7. It's young adult... 12+ But really anybody could read it....

  8. I just finished those three & I'm reading the fourth one, Called Extras right now & I'm 18, I think any age group from 13 up would enjoy them. I highly recommend them, I read the first three in three days. Scott Westerfeld has a book called peeps & I would recommend that as well. =)

  9. a lot of my friends read them, i am a junior in high school they were really good and i couldn't put them down.

and don't forget the 4th Extras. It takes place five years after Specials and it takes awhile to figure some things out, but it does happen.

  10. 9-12

  11. Basically teens.

I mean, you have to have a certain level of... How can I say it. Reading vocabulary?

I think thats a good choice.

Like, for instance, you wouldn't give Harry Potter to an eight year old.

You shouldn't give them Uglies at that age, either. Not because it's too 'mature' but because of the writing style. It would be confusing.

    Btw, horrible example xD

Uglies isn't as complicated as Harry Potter.
