What age group reads flowers for algernon?

i am going into 9th grade and i was wondering if i should read this book or is it to easy

  1. Too easy? The point of the book is one that can be appreciated at any age. I read it for the first time at 24 and enjoyed it.

  3. depends on what your reading level is.... however anywhere between 7th and 10th, i would say can read that one and understand it.

  4. i tried reading it in like 7th but it was to boring  for me...and then i read it in 10th and it was a little easy to read but i enjoyed it

  5. I read it in junior high school.  I don't think you'll find it difficult to read, but I found it very worth while.  It's one of the books that I'll probably always remember.

  6. I read it in 9th grade, too.  I came back to certain sections last year and picked up on a lot of stuff I missed before, but that can happen at any reading level.  It's definitely not too easy, even though the writing is pretty simple and the story is easy to follow.  There's a lot in there to think about.
