What age is Xavi from barcelona?

Why is he always in favour over cesc, there both great..the ball is glued to there feet..but i would like to see our little cesc getting more starts.

Cesc is great player no doubt about that, but you a little bias here, Xavi is one h**l of a play maker, just as you're  watching Cesc every week, I'm watching Xavi for the last for or five years and believe me he is one of the best creative mfs in Europe, just like he proved that at Euro2008.... Cesc will get his time don't worry, the only problem is that he is playing in EPL, where the level of football that suits Spanish NT is not good as in La Liga !!!!

Im an arsenal fan and i think Fabregas is immense, but xabi alonso doesnt get first team either, alot of brill players in spain mid silva iniesta etc, but at least fabregas always get a sub appearance

25 January 1980 is when he was born which means he is 28, and the reason he starts before Cesc is simple, Xavi has tons of experience, thats vital for a midfielder. But definately Cesc is a straight replacement for Xavi in the middle of the Midfield once he retires. Another reason why Xavi is first was right in front of us. Euro 2008, player of the tournament, got a vital goal and throughout, he was absolutely immense.
