  1. It would depend on the level of maturity and responsibility of the child.  I would not buy an iPod for a child who would use it or leave it laying around.  Also, I would not just hand my child his very own iPod.  Unless it were for a very special occasion, he would have to earn it.

  2. 13 ZABES THERE READY.#

  3. for a child 7 or 8 you could get a nice durable mp3 player for around $40. For a child 11 or 12 i would recommend and ipod nano any older an ipod nano or touch. Just to keep in mind.... apple sells used and new old generation ipods cheaper

  4. It really depends on the child, I'd say when they can keep their things in good working order (i.e. you know the ipod won't be thrown on the floor one day and forgotten about and then get stepped on, or accidentally left in their pocket and then put in the wash) For most I'd say that's around 17 or 18 but it varies. If your child is more responsible than most they can probably have enough sense of responsibility to have it at a younger age.

  5. i would say like 12 or older. before then, most kids dont really listen to music, or, the generations now are so clueless that they would loose or break it

  6. You can get them something cheaper when they are younger.Just make sure you tell them the value and when they get older if they ask you for a better one you can use the old one to show how responsible they are.
