  1. i say is for little kid 11-13but if u go to tourney then is for adults and the last person is dumb cause magic cards sucks. Like in was sayin tourney for adults cause when u win they tell if  u want money or a yugioh 5ds card

Mostly i won 1 time but my bro many times

  2. mostly ages 8 to 15 but like the othere person said it is played across all ages... and so on

  3. It's aimed at kids but it can be enjoyable for pretty much anyone!

Don't listen to people who say Yugioh players are childish because who knows, maybe they suck dummies and cry when they hurt their boo-boo!

  4. like 7-11

  5. 8 to as old as you can go.

  6. well yugioh was made in japan as a comic book at 1st and it was so vilont it wasin't alowed to leave japan (wich is now called "yugioh seson zero") then after showing yimi beat kiba at a card game takeshi (the man who made yugioh) was given menny cards by the shonen jump compeny (wich helped him air yugioh and sell the comics) cuzz peopul were asking if the card game yimi played was a real card game cuzz it looks like a good game so he changed yugioh to a new yugioh evrything in the anime and up-grade the comics to fite a story on the card game then  made the game it's self when he did that in japan yugioh was still really vilont but 4kids compeny took yugioh too america for biger sells but changed almost evrything in the anime so 4kids is aming yugioh torwds 7 year old kids but yugioh by the the origenal creater was aming at teens and adults from age 17 and up if you want the real story of the yugioh seires then read the comics cuzz 4kids wasin't alowed to up-grade that but despit what 4kids tryed to do the card game it's self stayed the same so the real game is based on takeshi's ideas and not 4kids so that's why the game is famus around tenns and adults but the anime is famus for the little kids!! ^_^

    here's the diffrens between 4kids and takeshi's yugioh;

    the charectors have diffrent names

4kids say in yugioh thair's a "shadow relm" the cherecor's soul gos to if they loos a shadow game but in takeshi's version loosing a shodow game is death and thair is no such thing as the shadow relm

4kids made the 1st set of cherectors duel in theas arenas in the 1st tornement but takeshi's version they played on game mats in a booth

takeshi's version shows fist fights with blood in it but 4kids took thoes seens out

4kids version sez yimi was a good ol' hero befor he became a spirit and is like a god but takeshi's version sez that yimi befor he became a spirit he was evil he used the powers of darkness  and harmed inosent souls and no one could stop him and he had no feelings tords others and that didin't change till he met yugi

    thair ya go!! ^_^

  7. well,in my country..all the professionals and hardcore duelist are about 15 to 25..usually the kids are just watching and not many are playing...maybe due to the fact that the price of yugioh cards in my country is quite expensive...

  8. Kyukon was correct. Yu-Gi-Oh's target demographic is boy's ages 8-12. What people just don't understand is that the majority of the buyers of YGO cards is what Konami/Upper Deck considers the target demographic. Little kids buy more cards than teens and adults. Teens and adults play the game more than little kids but they make up a much smaller portion of the sales market. Why? Because they use the secondary market(the secondary market is the trading, buying and selling of single cards) for most of their cards. Its funny that YGO players think that there are so many of them when in reality they're the smallest demographic of all YGO's buyers and thus the lowest priority on Konami/Upper Deck's list of people they care about.

  9. ok im sorry to tell you this it is aimed at 8 to 12

this is a child's game and if someone likes card games after the age of 12 the should be playing something more ontelligent such as magic the gathering or L5R

yugioh isnt meant to be played by people older than 12 it is flawed to its very core.(mechanically)

the corporation that makes yugioh is not worried about the playablility of yugioh because their main market doesn't even read the rule book so the rules dont bother them that much.

if you will notice competitive yugioh is always dominated by one archetype which almost everyone plays.

when this happens in magic the gathering something gets banned or a card is made which counters the problem(this only happens when moe than 60% of the decks in tournements are of the one type)

as a result during devlopment of magic the gathering cards these are avoided and so the game is not unbalanced.

the companies that make yugioh make a habit of making overpowered cards and then banning them as a result the ban list is 3 pages long the( magic the gathering one is half a page and magic has at least 3 times the amount of cards)

this si sometimes unnavoidable as overpowered cards are featured in the show and must be printed but for gameplay this is unnacceptable.

so therfore under 12 yugioh over 12 magic the gathering/ L5R

i hope you have enjoyed my rant and tell 12+ yugioh players they are too old to be playing yugioh and should be playing more cerebral games.

  10. its enjoyable to everyone. the card came is for years 10+ but the shows in my opinion is for 5 - 12. there is alot of people that play the card-game.
