  1. it a family sport someime it sometime it doesn't

  2. I'm pretty sure that if you're diesal enough to play in the first place, there is NO age limit, as long as your passion for the game doesn't expire. Some of my coaches have been in their 50s and they are VERY good, playing for many years. It's a great sport to stay in shape with and build new friendships with teammates. As for schedule, that is truely dependent on the team. Most that I know of practice 2-3 times a week for around 2 hours. If you can figure out a way to do that, then you should have no problem fitting it in. It's a really great sport and is enjoyed by people of all ages! Good luck! :)

  3. i know for girls playing with boys it is thirteen but womens rugby as long as you are still able to run there is no age limit and they train once and play once a week training is midweek at night and games are normally on sunday afternoons hope this helped

  4. i've been playing over 15 years, since i was 17 years old... and going strong.  im 33.  i play for a women's club team.  ive played with a woman that is over the age of 50... and by far the toughest on the team.  she started playing after her sons (in their 20's) started playing.  I play with some mothers... one has a 10 year old.  and ive played against a woman with a very young child... like she got done playing a game and ran to the sidelines to breastfeed.

yeah i think families can fit into the rugby life... and mothers can fit into a rugby life.  you just have to be open enough to accept that having your kids around the pitch doesnt mean that people will edit their swearing or actions!!
