  1. providing he can reach the footpegs and =hold on there is no limit

  2. Racing with a pillion?

  3. I don't think there are any legal requirements other that the pillion has to be able to hold on and wear a helmet.

  4. Sounds like an excellent idea BLAG_D

Age 11 is fine - but as far as legalities go I'm not

aware that there are any here in the UK - x*x -

Get the Dad to go pick up the Son from school

on the bike - Son will love the attention !!

  5. The only RACING I can think of with a pillion is sidecar raing.

  6. As long as the kid knows how to behave on the back seat, they can get on there as soon as they're big enough to balance and there's a helmet the right size for them.

Your mate must have a blinder of a missus to even be able to consider it. My ex would go utterly ballistic if I got the nipper on the back of mine.

  7. in most states as long as the passengers feet can reach the rearset footpegs and, presumably, hold on they are legal.  my daughter has baan on the back of mine since age 5

  8. I used to work in a biker's pub and have seen children as young as 6 riding pillion.

At age 11 he should not have trouble finding a lid(helmet) that fits either.
