  1. The Lewis Carroll original version? Pretty much all, it's read to very young children, and young adults read it as well. However, they are appreciating it in different ways (few five year olds get the drugs references, for example).

  2. Anyone who has an interest in reading it, really. Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass have been favorites of mine since I was about 5, and still remain to be intriguing at 17.

  3. The chapter book, then. Okay, I think that the age range (for people who want to read it on their own) would probably be around eight and up, if there were many eight-year-olds that were committed enough to read a chapter book, not that there aren't. I read Alice In Wonderland when I was seven or so.

Its been a while, so I can't really tell. In all honesty, it probably appeals more to older goups of people and younger groups of people, not so much young-adult and in between. Young children love being read to, at least from that book.

I loved the story. For those of you who haven't read it, read it!

  4. Lewis Carroll wrote it for all ages. A child is not supposed to understand the reference of Hookahs and mushrooms.  Carroll had a way to make the bedtime story fun for all!

  5. I first read it when I was eight and loved it, and I'm seventeen now and still love it, with no sign of going off it. I think it's probably just from whatever age you're able to read it upwards.

  6. It was written as a children's book, but there is much in it for adults to enjoy, a lot of crazy humour for instance.  I think really it can be read at any age.
