What age should I start acting?

If I start acting at the age of 19 or 18 could I become a really good professional actor? And does anyone know any acting schools or universitys in the US?

yes you could i mean look at brad pitt and angelina jolie julia roberts etc

start with classes at school then do plays at shcool build up your resume get experience! then get an agent and if you want to be succesful it will take years of hard work slowly climbing the ladder of success but if you get a chance to do somethign big go for it!

You can become a professional at any age. Although 18/19 may be a little touch to start, it can happen...

if your a gifted actor u can start at any age and still be good.

Juliard is a great school for fine arts as well is Boston University,  and so so many more.
