What age should you give a baby eggs?

he is 8 months old has 6 teeth can pic up food with his hands and chew... BUt what age can their digestive systems handle eggs? thanks

I was told to wait til mine were 12 months or so do to allergic reaction, or until they receive there vaccination that has egg in it

I was giving my daughter eggs at that age but because she was still on formula, I used to only give her the yolk. I used to prepare it like mashed potato. You prepare the formula, boil the egg and mash the yolk. Mix up the yolk and the formula in a bowl and feed him with a spoon. she use to l**k her lips! mmmm yummy!

I have 9 month old and Doc said to hold out on the eggs. Not sure when to start though..

He has to be atleast one year to have eggs.

Eggs are one of the 12-month-old foods.  Wait until they are at least a year, and then try just a bite or two one day and wait a week and make sure there was no reaction.

I waited until a year.  I can't remember what you need to wait for (the whites or the yolks).  They're one of the biggest allergens, so I would wait a little longer than 8 months.  You could always call your doctor
