  1. The age to start collegee is 21

  2. well bard at simon's rock is for 16/17ers, but since you already  finished high school then go ahead and apply to college if you feel like you're ready. otherwise you can do a gap year program to be more ready for more studies.

-you can do a set program like global quest (in ecuador or thailand)

-...or nols (national outdoor leadership school)

-internships (basically anywhere, pick something you're interested in and contact them)

-volunteering for an extended period of time, like through city year (several locations) or safe passage (guatemala)

safe passage is a really great organization, look at their website, i added it below. it's working with kids who would otherwise be going through the city dump. they're all fabulous, they'll love you without even knowing your name. if you want something truly inspiring, go to guatemala and try it out for a little while. the people in charge and other volunteers are really sweet and interesting people, this is what i want to do before college. i've volunteered on the us side, but everyone who has gone down there has to go back. so i think you know what i think you should do, but look at the other choices too, and i hope you pick something you'll enjoy :)

  3. I think you have to wait until you are 18, but since you finished college so early and if you have good grades they might let you.

  4. Yeah, you'll probably have to take an entrance exam but as long as you have a high school diploma or equivilent, you should be cool.  Hope ya like older girls...

  5. Most Americans are 17/18 when they start college, but you certainly can apply!  There is no required age to go to college -- in fact, many bright high school students start taking college classes at your age, though they may not enroll full time until they're a little older.

  6. Most kids start college after they graduate high school when they're 18, but as far as I know there's not age requirement to start college.  You'd have to live on campus while going to school, because no one would rent you an apartment until you turned 18, or else you could live with a relative off-campus.

As for an interview, it depends on which college you are applying for.  If it's really competitive, it might be advantageous to come to the U.S. for an interview, but I think most places will understand that you're an international student and won't require you to do an interview in order to be admitted.  Another option would be to do an interview by phone, so you don't have to come to the U.S.  If you have the money, I'd encourage you to visit the campus before you decide to attend the college, but it's not usually required for admission.

  7. Check with the college admissions officer for the actual requirements.  Educational standards vary for each country.  In the USA, you need to finish HS (12th grade) and take a college entrance exam (ACT or SAT) as well as go through the college's application process.

Check out the colleges of your choice and good luck.

  8. Every body gets into collage..You will get loans..Then they just make you pay  money back on interest to the banks..Never two old our to young to do something new, but it's going to coast you..Land of the free...Banks own America not the Americans..And they will own you to...you got schooled..
