I want to become a volunteer, what agencies or businesses need volunteers?

Call the United Way Offices.  The staff there can refer you to many agencies that need volunteers. 330-762-7601

Also: consider: hospitals, libraries, animal shelters, homeless shelters, battered women's shelters, etc.

If you get the Beacon Journal, check the social section on Sundays. There are often sections there that have lists of agencies that need volunteers.
