  1. Airbus A310, wider cabin, more quiet and much better for medium haul flights.

  2. B-737. I like the motors on them because they're basic. I like planes so if you wanna talk about planes or anything my IP is paulfamojuro@yahoo.com

  3. b737

  4. I dont know, i dont live on planes...

  5. b737 cos its easyer to land :P

  6. Comparison

A310 is bigger, it is a wide-body airliner, so it carries more passengers ( 220 in two class configuration)

the 737 is short to medium range airliner, single aisle only. and carries only a hundred to two hundred passengers depending on version and seat configuration. (most versions will carry about 100-160 typically--two class configuration)

the A310's can fly farther than the 737 and has a heavier max takeoff weight (around 361,000lbs) whereas the 737, depending on version, has only a max TO weight of around 180,000lbs

range for A310 is around 5,500 nautical miles depending on version

range for all 737s except for 737-700ER is around 3,000nautical miles or less

range for 737-700ER is 5,510 nautical miles.

I personally like Boeing aircraft more. the a310 is now gradually being considered "old technology" while the 737's are always getting new generations out. most airlines are only using 737-400 and up (-500,-600 etc) and those are far newer than the a310.

for which is better than long journeys, it depends what is your definition of long journeys. I consider long journeys to be more than 8 hours of flying. The 737 can't give you eight hours of continuous flying. the A310, could, but not by much.

I like the straight forwardness of the Boeing systems. The Boeing products seem sturdier too. With the 737, Boeing seems to have hit a great market. Its perfect for short or medium flights. just right in terms of power and seat capacity for short flights, and enough range for slightly longer flights like ft lauderdale to new york.

the A310 just seems to be a flop business wise for commercial airlines. Not efficient enough on shorter flights, but lacks seating capacity and range to fly a route longer than new york to paris or london.

I'd take the 737 if I had a choice. Boeing or nothing.

( with Boeing the crashes are caused by human error, nearly never by mechanical failure whereas the airbus planes fly themselves into the ground all the time with their fancy computers. sure, they say with time, they've learned from their mistakes but I'm slow to change opinions)

  7. Boeing sold more 737 then airbus 310. I am a pilot for a Northwest Boeing 737 and its way better. (in my opinon)

  8. I believe that the boeings are better aircraft.  I am a former flight attendant who worked on both aircraft.  The boeings are sturdier and last much longer than the airbus line.
