What airlines ask you to open the window shade for landing?

I've only seen this request on foreign, ie, non USA based airlines. What airlines have people seen this on? Thanks.

All airlines require you to have the window shades open during the first several minutes of the takeoff and landing. No, I don't know why.

I fly on easyjet and flybe a lot of the time, and i think they always make sure they are open.
