What airsoft gun should I buy for a medium sniper?

okay I like to play the part of sniper but I want to be able to join my friends up front sometimes I was looking for a medium sniper with semi and single action, under 300 dollars and atleast 300 fps, I found this site http://shortyusa.com/ It won't let me post the specific link to the gun but you choose the electric gun catagory up at the top then select the show M14 Series AEG the first gun should be the UTG M14 Spec Ops AEG Rifle Wood this is the one I was thinking about, I'd like some opinions or some other suggetions for a better medium sniper. thanks.

ShortyUSA is incredibly over priced for most rifles, I would not buy from them.

Odds are the battery is c**p, so take the extra 40 dollars and get an Intellect battery

FPS does not matter as much as you seem to think it does. My G&G M4 shoots as 360 fps. My Tokyo Mauri shoots at 270, but outranges it. How? A superior hop up. Hop up puts spin on the bbs, which allows them to go farther. However, the TM takes longer to get to its target at long distances, as it is going 100 fps slower.
