  1. Rice section. I have the same issue everything thanksgiving, I go to look for the barley (I know it's there, because I've purchased it at the store before) but it's always hidden someplace random.

    When in doubt, ask.

  2. In my grocery store (Superstore) it is in the section with the bags of dried peas, beans, etc, usually found around the soups since it is a popular ingredient for soup.

  3. One of two places.  The aisle where you find rice.Or the soup aisle.

If you can't find it, ask your grocer.  They need to know what people are looking for.

  4. Look where they have the dried beans.  That's the best place to start.

  5. buy the dry rice or dry pasta aisle

  6. By the other soup mixes maybe or the dried beans ect.

  7. Some stores just don't carry it no matter where you look--it's so delicious, I don't know why it's not more popular!  A health food store, or a store with a good bulk section, is probably your best bet.

I tried a barley risotto last week, and it was delicious.
